We accept resupply
(food cache) packages for hikers. We are located 7 miles off the Pacific
Crest Trail. The Pack Station is directly off Highway 108 (Sonora Pass)
approximately 7 miles from Highway 395. Our opening and closing dates
depend on snow conditions in our area. If you are planning on sending
or picking up packages early June or late September it is a good idea
to call us first. The best way to send us packages is by US Priority Mail
with delivery confirmation or UPS, two to three weeks ahead of your pick-up
date. Both will allow you to access a toll free number to be sure your
package has reached us. Address your packages to:

There are several different options for you to receive your package.

You
can pick up your package from Leavitt Meadows Pack Station 7 days
a week during daylight hours.
Cost: $40.00 |
| 2. |
We
can arrange for the package to be delivered at the top hwy 108 at
the PVT trail head parking. This requires you knowing the exact date
and estimated time of arrival.
Cost: $55.00 plus $10.00 cash for the driver. |

We
can drop your resupply package in the backcountry at a chosen location.
You would need to make a reservation.
Cost: Depends on location. |
| 4. |
During
the time that our base camp in Walker Meadows is occupied we can have
your resupply package waiting for you there. You will need to make
arrangements with us ahead of time to know when it is occupied.

Payment must be received before resupply packages are picked up by you
or dropped off to a chosen location. If the name on the check does not
match the name on the package please make sure to indicate what package
you are paying for so we can match the check to your package. If for some
reason you are unable to pick up your package during the season we will
mail it back to you upon request at your expense. We do not hold packages
for the next year.
Please pack your resupply materials in a plastic bucket protecting it
from animals. The lid and handle can be taped down for shipping convenience.
We do not offer any other services such as selling additional food, propane,
disposal, shipping out materials, email or mail correspondence to others.
We will be receiving packages from the designated address 2-3 times a
week. If your package is shipped on time we will have it ready for you.
However, we are not responsible for damaged packages due to postal services.
We are also not responsible for fire, theft, or animal damage (very unlikely).
